Friendz 5th Birthday Boat Party

Firstly, a big thanks goes to everyone who came down to celebrate the Friendz 5th Birthday boat party, which happened to be one of our best yet. We know we say this a lot, but seriously, it was one of the best parties we've ever held! The music was superb, the atmosphere was second to none, and the crowd were, like always, sensational. The weather didn't do us any favours, but who needs the weather when you've got awesome tunes, people and atmosphere.

Friendz Summer Boat Party - Saturday 19 July

The next event is scheduled for Saturday, 19th July, and we're very excited about this one due to it always being our most popular party of the year. Smack, bang in the middle of summer, this one always sells out, we traditionally get fantastic weather, and with our new time of 6pm - midnight, there'll hopefully be a cracking sunset thrown in also..

The line up is as hot as a summer's day down under with Ian Betts leading the charge again from the front, back headlining for us, and as always, will be ready to unleash the latest upfront trance tracks, and no doubt some fresh corkers from his own studio. We've decided to add a 2nd headliner to this event, with Steve Morley making his Friendz debut, and we're eagerly waiting to see what he has in store for us. With a career spanning 20 years and starting in the Netherlands, before going to Germany, and now in the UK, he has over 100 productions to his name under various aliases, and produced the massive hit Steve Morley - Reincarnations originally on Neo Records, and remixed by the scenes biggest names.

DJ Neutrino is with us again for this event, and is showcasing his first ever Live PA, which will add something different to the evening. Friendz regular and huge supporter of the Friendz events, Mister Simon will be making his Friendz debut, and we're really looking forward to what he has to offer. Alongside this already strong line up, the trio of Friendz residents, Wynand Delport, Trevor McLachlan and Charlie Bradley will be dishing up some trance goodness that only they know how.

Friendz Pre and After Party

There will as always be a pre-party for this event, so get down early to the Walkabout at Temple to kick start what is going to be a memorable day on the Friendz clubbing calendar.

Time: 2:00pm - 5:30pm
Location: Walkabout - Temple
Street: Temple Station - Temple Place

We are also negotiating a possible After Party at Bar Ortega. Please keen an eye on the Friendz website for more details.

Friendz Music

The label has received some fantastic music over the last few months, and our schedule over the next 6 months is really coming together nicely with some strong releases. We're very close to receiving the Sean Tyas remix for the first release, Rowland and Wright - Mysterious Movement, and although this has taken some time to receive, we're hoping this is an indication of how much timeSean has put into the remix, ensuring a cracking first release for Friendz Music.

We urge you to get behind the Friendz Music label, which will be championing the sound to our events, which you all support so well!
