London based trance event ‘Friendz’ is excited to announce the launch of its new record label; ‘Friendz Music’. Having hosted events at the likes of Turnmills, Heaven, Koko and Brixton Academy, as well as the ever-popular Thames boat parties, we feel that the time is right to champion the music that acts as a soundtrack to our events.

The team behind Friendz Music will include ex-Six:Thirty boss Ian Betts who will be in charge of A&R, and leading London DJ/Producer and long-time Friendz resident Trevor McLachlan who will be managing the label.

We are currently putting together an exciting release schedule, which includes both big-name producers and up-and-coming talent with the first release planned for March. To help celebrate we will be throwing one of our infamous Thames boat parties on Saturday 29th March, featuring Ian Betts, Trevor McLachlan, Wynand Delport and guests delivering our much loved blend of quality uplifting music.

About Ian Betts

Ian Betts has been capturing the imagination of dance music lovers around the world for over 8 years, during which time he has developed into one of the scene’s most consistent DJ/Producers. He has played at the biggest and most influential events in the clubbing calendar and performed alongside the world's biggest names. As a producer he has remixed artists from Matt Darey to John Askew and John O’Callaghan whilst his productions continue to be playlisted by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten and Eddie Halliwell.

About Trevor McLachlan

Trevor McLachlan has been a resident at Friendz for over 4 years, having previously held a high profile residency at Twisted alongside John ’00’ Fleming. He has played gigs around the world including Holland, Germany, Ibiza, Australia and New Zealand, and his seminal productions on labels such as World of Trance, Tidy, Addiction Digital and Impact have been supported the world over including Radio 1 airplay on Dave Pearce’s Dance Anthems show.

Their infamous summer boat parties are consistent sellouts and they have co-hosted events with some of the biggest promotions in dance music such as Judgement Sundays, HeatUK and Innovate, and in so doing have taken the brand to destinations such as Ibiza, Holland, Germany, as well as their mainstay in London.
